Dimensions & Base Requirements

Please select the correct size for your space. Pay particular attention to the "Closed Clearance" if you intend to use the parasol through the centre of a table, as this dimension dictates whether the parasol can be closed without hitting the table surface.

*Important Note on Closed Clearance

The Closed Clearance dimension refers to the distance from the bottom of the parasol arm (when fully closed) to the bottom of the pole.

• Table Use: If you are using a table, the table height plus the base height must be lower than this clearance figure, otherwise the parasol arms will hit the table when you try to close it.
• Note: The clearance figures above exclude the height of the base itself.

The Tradewinds Classic is a commercial-grade product designed for durability and longevity. As an authorised reseller, Awnings Online supports the manufacturer's warranty, which is split into specific coverage for the frame and the fabric.

2-Year Manufacturer's Framework Warranty

Tradewinds Parasols offers a limited 2-Year Warranty on the wooden frames and stainless steel components.

• Coverage: Covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship (e.g., split wood not caused by impact, faulty metal brackets) that occur under normal use.
• Remedy: In the event of a valid claim, the manufacturer will replace the defective part (e.g., a strut, hub, or pulley). Because the parasol is fully modular, specific parts can be shipped to you for easy replacement without needing to return the entire unit.

3-Year Canvas Anti-Fade Warranty

The solution-dyed polyester canopy is supplied with a separate 3-Year Anti-Fade Warranty.

• Coverage: This specifically covers the fabric against significant colour degradation (fading) due to UV exposure.
• Exclusions: It does not cover physical rips, tears, or abrasion caused by misuse, wind damage, or contact with other objects (e.g., dragging the cover).

Important Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

Please be aware that this warranty is strictly for manufacturing faults and does not cover damage caused by environmental factors or misuse:

• Wind Damage: Damage caused by wind, storms, or leaving the parasol open in adverse weather is NOT covered. We strongly recommend closing the parasol when not in use or during gusty conditions.
• Accidental Damage: Breakage caused by dropping, impact, or improper transport.
• Neglect: Damage resulting from a failure to use the protective cover bag or leaving the parasol wet for extended periods (mould/mildew).
• Commercial Use: Normal wear and tear expected in a commercial environment (scuffs, scratches) is not a warranty defect.
